Masha'Allah umm maymoonah, you and ur husband sound like u have a beautiful relationship! Brings a smile to my face. I pray for a blissful marriage of my own
Masha'Allah. I love Saad Al ghamadi'd recitation of Surah Yasin. I remember at a course i went to the sister was leading the jamat and she read out surah Yasin Ghamadhi style, masha'Allah. Unless you've done that you can't be Miss Saad al ghamadhi!!
Anonymous jazakAllah Khair for your comment but believe me we have our ups and downs like every relationship and lets just say I'm glad my husband doesn't have a blog :-) (then i'd be in trouble.)
I do admit I like to share positive stories to encourage positive behavior, joking, teasing, talking etc in relationships.
My teacher once said - Marriage is not just 2 people it's a society.
Meaning A good stable relationship = stable children = stable society. I firmly believe this is the case.
If only more people in the world would realise this notion. We have a responsibilty, but many when married just seem to forget about the rest of the world....A husband and wife can build so much of the ummah together providing they have they the same goal.....insha'Allah the du'aa in surah Al Furqan provides our objective - pious offspring who can be leaders of the muttaqoon.

JazakiAllah Khair Ukhtee - Its heart lifting!
Really? I didn't think Ibraheem Jibreen's your "type" - as far as qaris go. This is a nice one though masha'Allah. I would say I prefer Ajmy overall.
oh brilliant, jazahAllah. i was lokking for n mp3 version that was small enough to fit on my phone:) xx
I do prefer my husbands recitation to all others (obviously) but I also enjoy listening to Saad al Ghamidi.
I once asked him if I was his 'Miss saad al Ghamidi' he didn't get it. And stopped smiling for a few minutes...
